Within the project Dare to act - the city in the hands of residents implemented with support from the Civic Initiatives Fund. Foundation "Śląskie Lokalnie" purchased computer equipment (laptop computer with software and laser printer ). The equipment was labeled with the fund's logo and placed in the project office, which helped to fulfill the main goals of the Civic Activity Office .

The project was aimed at increasing the participation of residents in Chorzów. Social Activity Office was created, where information and assistance were provided. Residents received support in co-creating city policies (writing applications, petitions).
