Podręcznik pt. „Jak komunikować się w erze cyfrowej?”

Innowacyjne i posiadające wysokie walory poznawcze kompendium wiedzy na temat komunikacji. Podręcznik prezentuje proces komunikacji od intencji, przez kodowanie i werbalizację, na dekodowaniu i interpretacji przekazywanych treści skończywszy. Wśród poruszanych zagadnień znajdują się tu m.in. takie kwestie, jak: emisja głosu na co dzień, etykieta i grzeczność językowa, skuteczne porozumiewanie się czy przemówienia publiczne.

Bezpieczeństwo w sieci

Każdego roku miliony internautów padają ofiarą przestępstw w internecie. Cyberprzestępcy stosują różne zabiegi, aby uzyskać dostęp do naszych kont bankowych, gromadzonych danych oraz sieci kontaktów, których pozyskanie umożliwia im dalsze rozwijanie przestępczej działalności. Wydaje się, że jesteśmy tylko niewinnymi ofiarami tego procederu, jednak wina nierzadko leży także po naszej stronie. Nieprzestrzeganie podstawowych zasad bezpieczeństwa w sieci to jak pozostawianie na noc uchylonych drzwi, albo kluczy w zamku. Z drugiej strony, lekko modyfikując nasze przyzwyczajenia, możemy znacznie utrudnić, a może nawet uniemożliwić przestępcom dostęp do naszych zasobów.

Komunikacja cyfrowa – po co i jak komunikujemy się w sieci?

Internet stał się jednym z podstawowych narzędzi komunikacji opartej przede wszystkim na przekazie werbalnym. Taki rodzaj komunikacji jest wygodny i praktyczny, choć nie zawsze daje szansę pełnego porozumienia. Dzięki coraz szybciej rozwijającej się technologii umożliwia błyskawiczną wymianę informacji między ludźmi znajdującymi się w dowolnych punktach na całym świecie. Komunikat słowny bywa uzupełniany przez emotikony lub obrazki, ograniczając jednak do minimum poziom emocjonalny. Komunikacja cyfrowa daje też mniejsze możliwości zbudowania silnych i trwałych więzi interpersonalnych. W konsekwencji dochodzić może do różnego rodzaju nieporozumień i mylnych odczytań intencji nadawcy. Niemniej jednak taka forma komunikacji posiada wiele zalet. Daje szansę szybkiego nawiązania kontaktu bez względu na miejsce przebywania w czasie rzeczywistym.

Edukacja o prawach człowieka

Publikacja powstała w ramach projektu „Sojusz feministyczny na rzecz dobrej informacji o równości płci” i została przygotowana przez norweskiego Partnera z organizacji „Terram Pacis”. Stanowi zestaw rekomendacji, dotyczących włączania perspektywy gender do działań edukacyjnych z zakresu praw człowieka. Rekomendacje odnoszą się do trzech obszarów – nauka o prawach człowieka, badanie i dostrzeganie przykładów łamania praw człowieka i stosunek do łamania praw człowieka, edukowanie o mechanizmach chroniących prawa człowieka. Doświadczenia Terram Pacis w zakresie szkoleń i projektów edukacyjnych mogą stać się punktem odniesienia w edukacji, także nieformalnej, w Polsce. Przestrzeń dla zmian – raport z projektu

Jak młodzież postrzega zmiany klimatyczne i czy widzi możliwości ich spowolnienia? Publikacja jest raportem z 4 spotkań z młodzieżą realizowanych w formule open space, które odbyły się jesienią 2023 r. w Chorzowie, Katowicach, Mikołowie i Gliwicach. W niniejszej publikacji znajdują się wnioski i rekomendacje młodych (w formie tekstowej i graficznej) oraz spojrzenie ekspertów (akademików) na zmiany klimatyczne zachodzące na świecie i nasz udział w tym procesie.

How to create school spaces that foster creative thinking? - Handbook for educators

The textbook presents 44 examples of innovative change in Europe that can be implemented in any school. The textbook also includes: description of the idea, its impact on the development of creativity, the competencies and skills strengthened by the change, the costs of change and how to minimize them. The textbook shows that school space innovations are effective in increasing the level of creativity, and that implementing change is not difficult or costly. The project was implemented by an affiliated organization - SPATIA - Foundation for the Development of Education.

Creativity at school - Handbook

The teacher's handbook consists of two main parts. The first is a theoretical introduction to creative teaching - it explains the power of creative thinking and presents the most effective teaching methods that enhance students' creativity. The second part consists of plans and scenarios for single lessons or larger educational projects. All scenarios are based on modern, interactive teaching methods that enhance students' creativity and follow the guidelines of knowledge integration to create interesting, interdisciplinary lessons that address important contemporary issues.The project was implemented by an affiliated organization - the Foundation for the Development of Education SPATIA.

How to learn creatively? - textbook

An interactive textbook on how to learn creatively. The attractive form of the publication - exercises, tasks, trivia, videos makes it a valuable support for teachers and educators, and above all for the main audience - students. The handbook is the result of international cooperation of experts in the fields of pedagogy, psychology and communication, among others. The project was implemented by an affiliated organization - the SPATIA Foundation for the Development of Education.

A Facebook group where information is posted on the subject of communication.Including speech therapy with a special focus on stuttering and exchange. The group provides a space to exchange experiences, expand and update knowledge, make valuable professional and social contacts.

Bravo Polish! - educational films (2016)

"Bravo Polish!" is a series of twelve educational films about the Polish language, featuring street polls, opinions of students and experts (linguists). The films, broadcast on TVP Katowice, deal with such issues as greetings and farewells, archaisms, polite forms, numerals, feminine names, homophones, neologisms, linguistic correctness or spelling.

More than a painting - feel the painting with all your senses (2016)

Website dedicated to Polish painting by artists such as Stanisław Kamocki, Jerzy Kossak, Rafał and Jacek Malczewski, Władysław Serafin, Wacław Taranczewski, Irena and Wojciech Weiss, Leon Wyczółkowski and others. Brief descriptions have been prepared for each painting: author, painting technique, trend in art and interesting facts, and the featured paintings are divided into five categories: portraits, architecture, landscape, battle scenes and still life. The site also features artworks inspired by the multi-sensory experience of art.

Budget Game (2016)

Educational board game in which participants test their knowledge of civic budgeting, society, volunteerism, democracy, Silesia and learn how to manage a budget and choose appropriate investments wisely. The project developed eleven "founding legends" of urban kindergarten institutions. The materials can be used as books for children or as inspiration for creating your own "founding legend" of a kindergarten, school or town.

Etymological and motivational dictionary of the names of the Kleczkowo parish (2019)

It contains about 550 surnames found in thirteen Polish villages of the eastern wall.

Civil society: education, values, communication styles (2018)

The publication consists of five parts containing voice recordings and/or transcripts of: expert lectures delivered during the conference; panel discussions: how to build a civil society? Values, attitudes, opportunities; philosophy of education; practical dimension of education, as well as posters presented during the event.

A guide to digital communication (2020)

It contains ten texts aimed at introducing users to the functionality of several popular digital communication platforms, such as YouTube, Dicord, Skype, Zoom, Mentimeter, Microsoft Teams, Drive and Google Forms. The reader will also learn how to create a good podcast or record proper audio and video with a smartphone.

Scenario for a city/outdoor game on hate speech (2020)

It contains instructions, descriptions and all the necessary materials to create six points of the city game on the subject of language: netiquette, vocabulary, stylistics, phraseology, locution and perlocution, linguistic politeness. The scenario consists of 55 pages with questions, answers, worksheets, including: crosswords, puzzles, puzzles, games, cross-outs, etc.

Workshop scenarios on hate speech (2020)

The materials include: scenarios for two consecutive workshops for high school students, brief instructions about how to use the online tools during the workshops, worksheets (stationary form of the workshops) and online games, methodological and content guidelines for teachers. Topics of the workshops: hejt, hate speech, verbal aggression, emotions, causes and consequences of verbal aggression, criticism vs. hate.

"Maniery i inne bajery" - Manners guide

A profile on Instagram aimed at educating about savoir-vivre. It is a practical guide with 39 tips on politeness. Topics covered include cultural refusal, toasting, dress appropriate to the occasion, official and unofficial communication, rules on drinking wine, savoir vivre at the table or communicating with deaf, blind or disabled people.

Humanists vs. manipulation (2021)

A website dedicated to the subject of manipulation. It contains several texts from which the user can learn what manipulation is, how to recognize it and protect himself from the influence of a manipulator.

The publication "Młodzi dają radę! - Social activities of the youth of the Silesian Voivodeship" (2021)

The publication collects all the most important issues concerning the functioning of MIPs (Youth Participatory Initiatives), their projects, financing methods, promotion and impact on the local community. It includes statements from participants, photo reports from meetings, and an extensive and detailed analysis of the collected data. It can be a source of knowledge for decision-makers, those wishing to engage in participatory activities or those already undertaking initiatives.

Publication entitled "How to teach about communication in the web 2.0 era" (2021)

It contains ten original lesson scenarios prepared on the basis of the textbook "How to communicate in the digital age? Basics of good offline communication" and an educational game. The workshops are aimed at different audiences.

Educational strategy game (2021)

The game is based on the concept of action mapping and the idea of gamification. Each chapter has its own master, a guide. During the course of the game you can meet a mermaid who reveals the secrets of the beautiful sound of the voice, a pirate who teaches active listening and other interpersonal skills, we will also encounter a polite bear, a Zen monk who teaches how to maintain balance in any conflict, as well as an ancient treant which will focus our attention on exercises of attentiveness and the art of self-presentation.

Handbook entitled "How to communicate in the digital age? The basics of good offline communication" (2021)

The publication is the result of international cooperation. Specialists in speech therapy, communication, linguistics worked on the content of the item. The publication is a kind of hypertext - it contains many references to films, trivia or mini-lectures, and the whole is divided into zones: padawan/padawan and master/mistress.

Safe communication - toolbox (2021)

A digital toolkit on secure communication on the Internet. The toolkit takes a closer look at managers for securing data and programs for encrypting passwords and content, while an additional publication includes a mini-guide on how to use the Internet more safely. The included publication also covers topics related to cyber-attacks and includes information on how to protect against them.

It's a toolbox that covers topics such as working in the cloud, social media, email communication, time management, delegating tasks, tools useful for communication or scientific digital media.

A nearly 40-minute video featuring contributions from experts, practitioners and theorists, speech therapists, teachers and people who stutter.

Dialogue without barriers - a textbook for logopedics students (2021)

The textbook "Dialogue Without Barriers. Comprehensive Speech Therapy Intervention in Persistent Stuttering" integrates approaches to the treatment of persistent stuttering - a compilation of the latest evidence-based knowledge about stuttering and effective therapy. In addition to classical methods, alternative forms of therapy used today are presented, including elements of selected psychotherapeutic approaches. The publication is intended for speech therapists, university teachers, students and all those interested in deepening their knowledge of stuttering therapy.

Logolab - a website dedicated to speech fluency (2021)

This is a database of reliable and up-to-date knowledge, materials on stuttering and on methods of speech therapy intervention, also on available forms of non-institutional assistance (support groups). The site contains information for professionals - speech therapists and other specialists (including students) and the general public. 

Skepticism about COVID-19 vaccination - survey report (2022)

The report was based on 3,650 online comments posted under the Ministry of Health's Facebook posts. Report includes recommendations for good communication, as well as recommendations for strategies for responsible communication about immunization.

Misja Partycypacja - a website about activism and civil society (2022)

The site includes recorded interviews with mostly young activists and tips for a young activist.

E-book "Misja partycypacja" - about involving youth in local activities (2022)

The publication is a collection of good practices in involving young people in participatory activities. It is a compendium of knowledge for decision-makers and organizations dealing with civil society issues and comprehensively demonstrates how young people can influence the shape of urban policy both through the implementation of social initiatives and their promotion.

Misja Partycypacja – civil society podcast channel (2022)

A channel on the Spotify platform featuring conversations with local social activists. Topics covered include: local activism, European programs, opportunities and challenges of today's community activists, climate action, the city, mental health.

Gryfne beboki i gdzie je znaleźć- website and educational game about local folklore (2022)

The website features several legends/tales about Silesian demons. The viewer can learn about Silesian traditional beliefs, learn about the history of the founding of Mikołów, and find out how the forces of nature and the various elements were explained in the past. The site also includes workshop scenarios and an educational game.

Scenarios on storytelling and local identity (2022)

The publication contains three workshop scenarios for elementary school students created as part of the "Gryfne beboki i gdzie znaleźć je znaleść" project, accompanied by worksheets. The topics covered include: storytelling, local identity, Silesian folk beliefs and regional legends.

Cultural transfusion - scenarios of interdisciplinary courses (2022)

The online platform contains materials for wide use by educators in the field of humanistic contextual education. The repository contains 15 modules, methodological tips, inspiration, examples of the use of digital resources. The website also includes a set of creative tasks and a publication on good practices in contextual education. 

Becom (2019-2021)

Strona internetowa zawierająca zestawy narzędzi cyfrowych niezbędnych do skutecznej i bezpiecznej komunikacji. Przygotowane narzędziowniki mają charakter praktyczny. Przeznaczone są dla kadry akademickiej, studentów różnych kierunków, a także dla uczniów i nauczycieli szkół średnich.
